Out of Nothing

With a word The universe was flung into space With a word Everything came to be Ex nihilo OUT OF NOTHING The Word brought life…. LIFE And yet You toss them around As though they were…..nothing Not grasping the creative power Hidden in every letter Every syllable Explosive potency The ability To bring life OUT OF NOTHING You play with them Thinking them impotent Just….words Little do you know… How could you possibly fathom That the very essence of Life, love, joy, peace, beauty, serenity, desire All these and so much more You bring to life in me… Ex Nihilo OUT OF NOTHING With just one word From your lips…. You create Eden in my heart Where streams of passion flow Where no fruit is forbidden Where flowers flourish Under the light of your smile And I exist and breathe The air of paradise Clothed only in the light Of your eyes… Be careful with your words Your words create in me…life…. Ex Nihilo Out of nothing Light Out of nothing Love Out of nothing Desire Out of nothing Passion Out of nothing Ecstasy Your words create In my innermost being OUT OF NOTHING…..
