Out of Body Knowledge
I slipped off my body to fly in another realm.
The cold clay awaiting my return lay upon the bed;
a lump of the elements.
The places I went, the deeds that I saw;
no one had a clue of my attendance.
Deeds good and bad I witnessed;
recorded in mind for later review.
Quantum slides in and out; from one universe to another;
Recorded on electric sparks to, be replayed over again.
Cosmic movies to be viewed by,
mortal mind and spiritual eyes.
How I hate re-dressing;
the physical form leaves nearly everything to be desired.
Even with the movies playing;
the event is too uncomfortable;
the entertainment; bittersweet.
Body clothing is painful; Irritating to wear;
confining to the soul and mortally devastating.
It is pain; agony that no movie can depict;
it distracts the mind.
And so,
I slip off my physical suit to live for awhile each night;
as lump sleeps;
I live.
