Our Young Visitor Holds Sway
The cars all line up for the big race,
Determination set on the drivers face.
Off they go at frightening speed,
All are vying to be in the lead.
All of a sudden a bus appears on the scene,
The screams all come from the drivers keen,
The cars take flight like aeroplanes.
They miss the bus, they live again.
Now all the animals line up to see,
All the trains going past one, two, three.
Now at the couch cliff the action starts,
All the cars and buses reach for the stars.
Racing fast along the cliff top.
Screeching round, no time to stop.
They hurtle off with a screaming sound,
Heading for space high above the clouds.
Now all are falling fast to earth are bound,
Crashing hard into the ground.
No hurt is felt, the race they carry on,
Immortal avengers every one.
Slamming hard into the cars as he races away,
Nothing can stop him as he wins the day.
Oh what a wonderful place it seems to me,
In the imagination of a child to be.
