Our Time

When I was a kid, my dad and I always went out to eat. We went to the chili parlor right down the street. Every Saturday morning he would try. Sometimes I said no, and I don't know why. I would do nothing but stay home. He would go out and eat alone. I said no about fifty percent. He said that's fine and went. All he wanted to do is spend time with me. Take me out, make me laugh, make me happy. My father was just so great, But the minute I found out it was too late, you know what I wanted to do? I wanted to go to the chili parlor with you. I just want one more chance to have what I had. I just want one more chance to tell you, you are the greatest dad.
