Our Only Certainty
In living out our lifes
little remains the same
there's so much change
except death always came
No one living wants to speak
about this dreaded certainty
everyone's focused on life
forgetting death leads to eternity
Eternity means what it says
never ever to end
even death can't intervene
it goes on with no bend
So death is only part of life
on road to eternity a passing place
each of us must pass through
like all of the human race
At one time sooner or later
death to God's court we'll be taken
to accvount for this life lived
where we'll be saved or forsaken
