Our Mum Is Magic
Our mum is magic,
We promise she is!
A marvellous, fabulous,
Magical whizz.
With a wink of her eye,
And a nod of her head,
Each morning she'd magic us,
Out of our bed.
Then a click of her heels,
And a tap to her nose,
We’re all dressed and ready,
In lovely clean clothes.
Downstairs to breakfast,
Not missing a beat,
She waves to the table,
Food's ready to eat.
When our tummies are full,
With a grin and a gleam,
She wiggles her fingers,
And the dishes are clean!
No homework’s forgotten,
Or books left behind,
When she calls them all to her,
Using only her mind.
Then the journey to school,
Rushes by with a zoom,
When mum fly’s us all there,
On her magical broom.
Our mum is magic,
Of that there’s no doubt,
She always finds time to go,
Out and about.
The house cleans itself,
And the garden stays neat.
The shoes that we wear,
Grow along with our feet.
The cupboards refill,
When we run low on stock,
So mum never has to,
Rush out to the shop.
The doctors not needed,
We never get sick.
But if we did, she'd
Fix us up in a click.
She always looks great,
And it's obvious why.
She can change her outfit,
In the blink of an eye.
No make-up is needed,
To bring out her beauty,
With her own homemade potions,
She's always a cutie.
Her energy is endless,
No matter the day.
She's ready at all times,
To join in our play.
Our mum is magic,
We promise it’s true!
And I bet your mum wished,
She was magical too.
