Our Gift of Easter
Our Gift of Easter
"Easter is the holiest of liturgical celebrations~
it is a time of farewells and renewal."
~the poet
The body and blood of Christ given up for humankind,
Crucified on a cross, condemned unjustly, all part of a prophecy;
Betrayed for pieces of silver and lies.
God's plan to save our souls iniquities; his only son the sacrificial lamb,
Resurrected from the depths of deaths darkness,
He lives within us; guiding our path with his light.
Our unwavering faith bringing us to glory,
immortality, throughout eternity.
