Our Garden
Magnificent trees with branches bended
Surrounding vast beds of flowers tended
Beds displayed with only one color shone
Somehow dictated where each must be grown.
Tho the classic garden pleases the eye
Such a perfect pattern one can’t deny
Every structured color may have its place
And to keep each a part’s a constant race.
But I much prefer a kaleidoscope
Of many colors…one can only hope
Tho diverse, they will all appear as one
Well blended together under one sun!
And as each color struggles to stand tall
Eyes wide open, we must treasure them all.
