Our Fearless Leader

America has gone crazy and elected a foolish leader He lies, he spies His people try to frame the debate of one of Socialism vs. Capitalism The system we have lived under for years is not laissez faire capitalism Our current leadership is heartless Plays to the worst impulses among the populace Indeed he is a hypocrite , too Talking morality After a fling with a **** star which he attempted to cover up Talking like he is a real American leader although without Putin He would not have risen to the top Let us hope that Democrats and reasonable Republicans rise up Stop our nation from careening into disaster

Politics, Politics Politics. It is the ruin of the world. Perhaps the only really good president was the first one and after that it all went rolling down hill. All I know is for the first time since Viet Namn the country seems to be on the upswing. It's starting to get out of debt, the jobs are finally available for people who want to work, you know, silly little unimportant things like that.

I agree with Gershon down here. I don't know much about Eisenhower. Maybe he was one of the last decent presidents. Oh, he forgot about Jimmy Carter. he was "too nice" and nobody wanted him for second term. For sure, the BEST president was way back in the 1800's and HIS name was Lincoln.

I agree that Lincoln was a great man. But our best President may be FDR. He lead the country through the Great Depression and World War 2. He managed to win 4 times!! Nice to hear from you! Peace & Love Matthew Anish

G'day Matthew … I know nothing of American politics but our headlines are dominated by Donald Trump down under. Personally I don't believe a word any politician says these days. Days of a true statesman are gone it appears - an interesting read for me Matthew - Lindsay

Character should matter. But in my book, the last man of true character to reside in the White House was Eisenhower. The rest of 'em, including Kennedy and Reagan, a bunch of fakers, shams, and/or womanizers... So, apparently character doesn't matter much to enough Americans. Where that leaves us, I'm not sure. I don't see much in the way of character in the Dems' leading candidates either. Looks like I'll have to it 2020 out (again, like 2016). Oh, well... Thanks, Matthew. ~ gw
