Our Creator Has But One Demand

The scent of warm cinnamon tea & soothing saxophone notes of Coltrane drift over my peaceful thoughts this frigid below zero morning in Minnesota... A flute calms in waves listening to Pharoah Sanders... Everything outside is covered in snow and ice... A voice arises "peace and happiness for every man" "The Creator has but one demand" "Peace and happiness for all the land" "Peace and happiness for all the land"

I don't think I have ever had cinnamon tea. I use it in pickles, pies, soufflé, and in baked goods. I bet it was yummy. Thanks for sharing this one and for dropping by my page. Sara

Pleasures all mine Sara! Cinnamon Tea is a fine antioxidant & I like it also 'cuz of it's anti-inflammatory properties, I sprinkle it on everything including my nightly curries! Love to you and Doris! Merry Christmas!

James, your poem whispers of sadness, I feel the same at Christmastime, though I put on a happy mask. We have an angel this year as my niece had a baby girl, she giggles and smiles, so how can I not, and this gift from God has made my family closer and happy, blessings
