Our Blinding Ways

The depths of denial We are ignorant to see Blinding truth beneath us A careless reality and false dreams' Hidden amounts of lies Corrupt all and anything real you loved Our will is tested Questioning right from wrong Uncontrolable decisions Make uncertain choices too many So tempting and irresistable now Our undeserved innocence Has been entirerly lost Beyond tarnished values Soiled by wicked ways to a dead end How meaningless and damaged we are From the countless needless mistakes Our faded beleifs tear away Any hope of the future Stained feelings are left behind Instead of our faith which turned to doubt With tainted thoughts stirring inside So confusing is our every outlook Over and over our careless actions Didn't show thier immediant reactions Until it was to late for change We just have to live with it now Been taken down so vulnerable and weak And so we're headed for a wasted tomorrow And it's sad to say that's how we made it * In the middle of nowhere Nothing but broken paths to step forward on We are leading ourselfs to one place The dead end of a deserted destination *
