Orbis Pictus

How to paint a picture to the wise
as a child when we judged rightly
All we had to do was look to the skies
then wonder and awe did shine brightly
To regain the elixir for me is necessary
as then I smiled seeded by all this
By your caprice this tone is arbitrary
lips pressed to the canvas is still a kiss
As then this child still needs help
Brushes of wow and not points of how
I’ve been this way since my whelp
with the shots fired across your brow
As then wonder will still chase us all
The awe inspiring still rests in the I am
In the orbis of my mind words scrawl
circling until my quips are written diam
