Orange is the chakra color that governs our sexuality, our creativity, and passion. This chakra, the sacral area beneath the naval, sparks our drive to love and reproduce. It calls upon artists to paint, poets to create inspiring poetry, composers, melodious music. Orange rules hues of firelight in the glorious sunrise and sunsets. Tangerine skies lend tranquility with beauty each dawn and dusk. Carnelian, orange jade, and agate gemstones increase and aid self- esteem, confidence, and balance. I do wrap myself in orange glory ... I own orange t-shirts, an orange pair of plaid shorts, and even a few orange caps. Congrats on your win, Connie ... I didn't even think about the chakra, but that makes sense.

Thank you Sandra. Colors have such deep meaning that it changes our moods. Prison walls are often painted blue or grey to calm prisoners. It is interesting. Hugs, Connie

We were just in Arizona and noticed there are a lot of orange sandstone gems as part of the jewelry for sale there. Definitely beautiful and earthy. You are so very much in touch with nature.

It's weird that it is one of my least favorite colors, Connie. Maybe I am too wrapped up in being earthy. I love greens and blues. but I do love the sunset. You did fantastic with the theme. (ironically, I do love yellow which is a part of orange).

Daniel, I only have two tops that are orange and don't wear them often, but I love nature's hue of orange in the fall and in the skies. It truly is the color of passion even more so than red according to my Aura colors. I am an aura photographer and have taken many pictures as proof of that fact. Creativity blooms in the color of orange, which I am sure you have plenty of. Thank you for your sweet comment. ;)
