Oppression

An innocent hand, besides its normal Duty to touch and, duty to hold Duty to pinch and land, blows and brutal Oppression An innocent lip, besides duty to disguise Duty to enclose and, duty to house teeth Duty to rub paints, lick each other’s maws Oppression A free given straw, soda to suck from decanters Duty to accompany, the twin orange sacs Duty to toil and rub, like real beggars Oppression God-given head, beautiful feathers to hold Duty to host brains, to think make choices Duty to reason poorl’, the same brain to scold Oppression
