Only One As Good As Mine
Only One As Good As Mine
To Billy Davis and His Mom.
To some people a quilt may be quaint
But to me my mom is quite a saint
No matter what she does nothing is wrong
And her soft voice so sweetly sings a song.
She read many nursery rhymes to me
Which is why I now have the ability
To write my poems that are endearing
And me on everyone around is cheering.
Dream about her peas served with cream
Eat her great breakfast and eyes do beam
Later biscuits and gravy are on my plate
And to eat them all up can hardly wait.
Swallowed last crumb until it was gone
Then before God on my knees I fell upon
When He made mom through away design
There is only one that is as good as mine.
