One With the Sea
Alone on the sea shore I've found a home,
As each night's horizon glows velvet red.
Where peace is found in the waves soft foam,
And visions begin to play in my head.
I walk to weathered music's feathered waves,
As they thin on sand soft, pulling away.
Erasing my footprints to vanishing graves,
A rhythmic tempo of peace they convey.
The sea unchanged remains when I leave,
And captures the motion of pebbled sand.
It cares not for me, or will ever grieve.
When my days numbered, cover me with land.
To be one with the sea where I am small,
Feel the waves rhythm and hear the sea call
