One Too Many Voices
ONE TOO MANY VOICES
Wisdom and folly are both principles personified
Repeatedly our minds are compromised
Wisdom promises everlasting blessings
Folly carefully disguises pleasure dressings
Lady wisdom lives next door to sanity
Knowledge and discretion fighting inhumanity
Folly chooses pride, arrogance and crooked talk
Like a prostitute- enticing promises—effortless walk
Wisdom like a spouse—supportive permanent partner
Folly has cohorts, twisted, skewered and harder
Whose voice do we predominantly hear?
Our destiny travels through ability to tune our ear
