One Spring Day

ONE SPRING DAY The snowfall was quite a bit. It seemed to last forever. Expectations became null, as the first day of spring came in March. The grass had not green. All that was seen was white no butterflies where in flight. Birds did not chirp but love was in our hearts. Spring would come in a bliss. All will awaken, one spring day, to all that was missed. The snow has disappeared. The grass is green. The butterflies are in flight. The birds chirp. It is spring and not just that season. One spring day is every day. ________________________________________________| Sponsor: Francine Roberts Contest Name: A Spring Day in English Quintain Date Written: March 22, 2014 Entry Date: March 22, 2014 Motif: Day
