One More Time

One More Time If only one more time I could feel her embrace And hear her say I love you And that nothing could erase The hunger that she had for me Way deep down inside her soul And that all she really needed Was my love to feel whole If only one more time She'd say I’m just misunderstood That if someone says I’m crazy They don’t know me very good If only one more time We could sit and share a gaze Talk of porch swings under sunsets As we dream of golden days If only one more time She’d believe me when I say She can trust in me forever I would prove it every day If only one more time She’d wear her diamond ring I would never make her feel I’m expecting anything If only one more time She had a fear that she would cry If she ever had to think That this could be our last good-bye By: Jeremy Siedlecki
