One More Chance

Layin in the park light Just another dark night No one around But the angels' in sight Reachin from the sky To take me away But it's not my time So I begin to pray Give me just an hour Or just one day To tell my wife and kids That I just can't stay I know I'm not the best God let this be a test Please give me one more chance Before you lay me to rest I see the heavens open A voice says "feel no pain" As my soul rises higher I stand above the rain Now walking down a tunnel A hallway lit so bright With my family at the end Dressed in gold and white A smile on my face With tears below my eyes I reached with my hand To be closer to the skies They said "you must return" I started losing sight A voice said "don't worry" "Everthing will be alright" I took a deep breath And with just a single glance I was back in the park Thank you for another chance
