One More Chance
I think about him night and day,
his eyes aren't a mystery.
Blank stares at the wall
when we ended,
were just part of my painful memory.
He thinks he knows
how much I love him,
but the truth is,
he doesn't and I try to tell him.
Sometimes I want
another chance,
and I wanna go back
to our time at
the dance.
But I know we can't
because of my mistakes.
I'm willing to try; it's a chance I'll take.
