One Empty Pocket
-ONE EMPTY POCKET
One empty pocket, no change lays inside;
Nothing to reach for; nothing worthy does reside;
No sentimental inhabitants; nothing laid away;
It's going to once again, be a long, lonely day;
The pocket use to hold, many worldly goods;
Circumstances came about; now misunderstood;
A passerby, slips the pocket's owner a token of love;
Smiles; gives a nod; says, "From my GOD, above!"
It doesn't take much, to make a difference, in someone's life;
To just fill an empty pocket; to relieve a little strife!
