One Day
One day you'll know
What it's like to be old
Seeking the warmth
And resisting the cold
Awaiting that visit
For Love ones to hold
Willing to bend
And easily to fold
Awaiting a listener
To hear stories unfold
Not having the courage
To stand and be bold
When treated with honour
Or possible gold
Their Love won't shatter
It'll always unfold
Since Time can't be Bought
And Time won't be Sold
It'll be Time One Day
To play their role
