On Writing Poetry 1

On Wring Poetry Playing hide and seek with wee, wizard-like words , Baring heart and soul to garner the fare Of a fairy-like or weary world as heard And seen, to make up lines with a mission rare Like Ulysses raring to go exploring With a rare will, alone, on high seas roaring. Or the Magi who journeyed for all it’s worth On dreary paths to witness a divine birth. 10th Jan 13 Form: Rispetto:- Rhy Sch: a-b-a-b-c-c-d-d/ 11 sylls per line. PS: The allusion in the second stanza is to the “Journey of the Magi” by T.S.Eliot and “Ulysses” by Lord Tennyson, my early influences in life. For Russell Sivey's "Poetry about poetry contest"

I enjoyed your poem. I've not used this form before so I've looked it up and find two different line rhyme counts. Not sure which Russell will be looking. Very well written poetry !!
