Did you take that picture?? The poem itself is very descriptive, but the photo too, is quite beautiful. I'd like to set up camp by that lake....

Thank you Timothy, the photo was taken by a friend in Oakland, Oregon of her back yard. That is why I have written a few poems about the mountains. I lived there for 37 years of my life with my my husband and sons, it does give you a feel of peace and serenity, God’s church. God bless you dear friend

First off my friend love the pic for this poem, it's simply beautiful, next love the images that these words of nature poetry that you have place within my mind tonight. I will dream of this wild country tonight I'm sure of it, thanks for the sharing of it with me. But on poem farewell my friend know you have it all wrong, I was lucky to have known him, and that he crossed over my path of life, and touched it with his even for the short time that I've known him. cheri
