On the High Mountaintop I See the Stars

On The High Mountaintop I See Glowing Stars On the high mountaintop I see glowing stars they wait for me shining so brightly there. Blasting like high beams on speeding cars, or glowing lanterns at the top of the stairs. Those night sentinels dearly comfort me with steadfastness in that galactic realm. Beckoning, come forth, venture to be free a ship sailing with you, master at the helm. Over that horizon Hope awaits its turn promises unfulfilled sing a melodic tune. A man with great courage to use and burn can find them with a leap over the moon. More lies in abundance a bit farther out mysteries, loves and great treasure galore. When I find it, I let out a mighty shout thank God for creating every distant shore. Yes my darling, you are dancing there as well each journey starts with bright twinkle in your eyes. Your joy and laughter are the starting bell that sends my nightly ship across the skies. On the high mountaintop I see glowing stars they wait for me shining so brightly there. Blasting like high beams on speeding cars, or glowing lanterns at the top of the stairs. ****** *******, 02-21-2015 Now entered in Shadow's contest.

This is fantastic! I like how you put your love in the dance with you. The stars do seem to be much brighter, much closer out in the country or up in the mountains.

Thank you my friend. I edited the poem, removed second of three repetitions of the opening stanza. So now that would be the fifth stanza instead of the sixth. My motivation was the poem Peter wrote and the love my wife Riza that she gives so generously. I dearly hate these slumps. Once I never got them but now they come every few weeks to last a few days at a time.
