On the Edge of Day

As morningtide folded in the day there was something about it that lured me in its depths the moon still visible was satiated as my mind is on thoughts of you I could feel you fingering every inch of me in the rise and fall of warm breaths as they stumbled through the November air the dark clouds traced the edges of the moon like the shadows of life that linger around us the sun though not visible flickered white beneath the clouds a ray of hope for resplendent days like that of our yesterdays the mist of morn tumbled from skies momentarily as did tears from lonely eyes within the depths of blue that now surrounded me as day unfolded

I enjoy getting lost in the poem, carefree, as a much desired Sunday drive. Very beautiful.

A soft battle of hope, loneliness, & want within your heartbeats. This was eloquent & very touching.
