On That Tragic Saturday Afternoon
The sky was beautiful
That warm and sunny day
Everything was normal
On that Tragic Saturday Afternoon
Driving along
No care in the world
Laughing and singing
On that Tragic Saturday Afternoon
Laughter can be heard
Children playing
With there daddy
On that Tragic Saturday Afternoon
Mommy’s at school
We are at home
With our daddy
On that Tragic Saturday Afternoon
Driving talking singing
Truck coming
Truck crushing
On that Tragic Saturday Afternoon
Where is daddy
Why isn’t he here
Hugging and spoiling me one last time
On that Tragic Saturday Afternoon
Daddy is gone
So is sister
That day we will never forget
On that Tragic Saturday Afternoon
If you kids ever take for granted
What you have now
Just think about that day
On that Tragic Saturday Afternoon
Think about the times you get mad
At your parents and remember
That can be you on
On that Tragic Saturday Afternoon
