On Parchment Paper

Enticing whispers on candle- lit sand beneath an effervescent moon and honey essence Florescent jasmine in silent touch as dreams tread softly on purple petals Amorous glances in shades of blue 'bove silver wisps and wistful waves A falling star,Unspoken thoughts Shimmering dust and hundred wishes The clack of glass, bacchus of wine Bare toes tip-toeing in search of time Arms embrace shadows by blazing.fire as dusk fades slowly 'n distant horizons Next rooster's dawn welcomes white wings which spread up high in a new promise A drop of dew drips on my cheek while lone I walk to hillside cottage Mid~Summer kiss awaits his lips and harp strings find my fingertips Twilight romance takes its last chance as our eyes meet in a slow dance.

Beautiful poetry, as always. I've been scarce. I almost forgot what I had been missing until they featured one of my short poems and sent me a notice. So glad I stopped by. Thank you for commenting on my poem, too.
