On Her Own
She sits and cries
18 Years old
Fear of being out and on her own
Helpless and weak
Those words cut deep
Never taught the ways of life
Jumped from house to house
Not one person said
This is how you do it
Little did she know
That the only way for her to learn
Was to get out there
And actually be on her own
