ON GLORIOUS WINGS
On glorious wings
Feathers of gold
I will rise
I will glide on branches
Spread like covers
Omnicoloured kites
I crane my neck
Spread my arms
Smile into your morning
Beam my eyes into your autumn
Your brilliant aurora
Your maroon leaves
I dive on fins
Into your crest
Ride your waves
Hold you to my gilded chest
Our crimson mouths
Grazing forever, eternally
