Ole Country Home

Warm humid air Crickets chirping and cicadas humming. Birds singing and wind gently blowing. Sweet scent of flowers mixed in with home, the smell of hickory smoke. Got the horses neighing, and lambs baying, the cats a-meowing and the dog might be howling. the rockers creakin' and the door is squeakin', as the ford rumbles on down our old dirt road. Gotta glisten on the grass, from the rain that has passed, the sun shining warm and bright, a vision in my mind of an ole' summer day, cant wait to dream of summer nights.

I have always admired the labor of agronomy and my perception of country living - the closer folks are to the land the stronger and wiser they are in my estimation - I like space, and nature, and wildlife - maybe someday I can relocate to a smaller town with a larger view of life - all is well my friend - nice write - J.A.B. %

Really like how you took this theme and ran with it. The further south you go, the more animal farm it gets. I think you captured the charm and mystique of slooooow country living. Look forward to reading more of what ur saying
