Old man Larry sat by the fire He was many years retired He worked hard when young raring his sons His wife had passed away on the fifth child He called the phone company for a reply What is wrong with my phone Your phone is fine sir why do you ask I ask because my sons don’t ring anymore

I like this description of how we tend to look to people like phone company customer service representatives for answers to deep and universal problems. As someone who works in customer service, I constantly try to think of answers.

Oh what a sad ending and how true for so many people... Children seem to forget what sacrifices parents made..

Sadly it happens to a lot of old people and their families too busy with their own lives. Loneliness is terrible thing to have to endure. Tom

Hi Tom , yes indeed my friend it is reality but there are some beautiful people out there helping with lots of love in there hearts , if we all called just once a week into some one old what a change it would be ::)))
