Oh September

Depression sinks in, Seeping through my skin I've grown in maturity That wisdom is of purity I've been a doormat all my life, Dealing with so much strife My icy loneliness creeps in on me I feel alright in your arms of ecstasy I loved it when we kissed and hugged and cuddled... We, like penguins, huddled Scars are written in the stars I have met a billion bars Thangs have changed between us - We are on a different bus I caught a cold ever since I can remember I remember your December though...oh September... If only you'd come back in my calendar

A most lovely write, JW, where beauty comes with feelings of sadness and the yearning for warm bright days that have now given way to cold. It's inevitable that sometimes we experience "scars that are written in the stars"! ~ Regards // paul

Beautifully melancholic piece, J.W. Also, really liked the line: "We, like penguins, huddled" - very cute ^^
