Oh September
Depression sinks in,
Seeping through my skin
I've grown in maturity
That wisdom is of purity
I've been a doormat all my life,
Dealing with so much strife
My icy loneliness creeps in on me
I feel alright in your arms of ecstasy
I loved it when we kissed and hugged and cuddled...
We, like penguins, huddled
Scars are written in the stars
I have met a billion bars
Thangs have changed between us -
We are on a different bus
I caught a cold ever since I can remember
I remember your December though...oh September...
If only you'd come back in my calendar
