Oh My Heaven
OH MY HEAVEN
Oh my Heaven, sweet sweet Heaven
City of my Great Reward
Oh lovely Heaven
Where pure men breathe in love
And dear saints dine and wine
At the table of the Lord.
Oh Heaven my country
Where I am an affirmed and loved citizen
Where I am fully employed by my King
Where no foreigner can invade
Neither corruption be found
Oh Heaven, my perfect Heaven.
Oh precious Heaven my Home
Where sweet praises are raised to Father alone
Oh Heaven, Home of homes
Where all tongues and tribes
And nations and people
Are bonded in love as one big family.
Oh dearest Heaven
Where hearts and houses
And streets and cities
Are purified by fire
And are more transparent
Than any man-made glass.
Heaven oh Heaven
The City of righteousness I remember
When I am tried and tempted
City I can’t dare to miss
City of Whose I long to meet
Heaven, the Heaven.
