Oh Joanna, Be Mine
If you love me
Answer my call.
God is here,
Even if I were to fall.
Blessings to me,
Blessings to God.
I climb a mountain
With my feet shod,
Armor from my God.
So here I am now,
Here I trod,
My staff, my rod,
Have mercy as I nod.
My soul is with thine,
Entwine,
Be mine,
Be my valentine,
Oh Joanna, be mine.
Mercy now,
Heaven shouldn’t fall,
Answer my call
My sweet dove.
Ever all,
Heaven’s tall.
Sweet bliss,
Your lips
I miss.
Golden halls,
Fountains and stalls.
How energetic you were
My young doe,
I missed you,
Please don’t go.
It’s collapsing now,
The school is closed,
Vacant, I nosed.
Though heaven’s divine,
I failed you,
I’m swine,
Oh Joanna, be mine.
Here I am now
At the mountain’s peak,
I journeyed life through,
I have my rod as I nod.
You’re entwined
With all I could find.
After all these years
My heart still says its you,
Yes, I do.
I would’ve married you,
I married me instead.
What a life I’ve led,
Lets jump in bed,
Eat roses until we’re fed.
I knee beneath thee
My queen
Sweet from the vine,
Oh Joanna, be mine.
