Oh Fancy That

You lead me to the bedroom I couldn’t believe the size Asked me how I liked my eggs I replied ‘unfertilised’ I said please don’t be so forward I’d prefer a little less idle chat For I’m only viewing a show home… Now what do you think of that! Jan Allison 20th November 2014

I've tried to write with humour ever since the first poem I posted here - called 'Just desserts' it wasn't the first poem wrote - that was called 'Splendid Isolation' about how I felt when my husband went in for his cancer surgery that poem was posted but not for a few days after I joined:-) hugs Jan xx

You wouldn't believe how often women have said to me "I couldn't believe the size" and followed by "I was hoping for something much larger". I can't help it if I have so many fun size candy bars left over from Halloween. Classic Jan, with this poem as written in The Book Of Jan your new published poetry book.
