Oh Dress of Spring

Oh dress of Spring removed too early I woke up bare and freezing cold All tangerines already fallen.Too ripe to eat They left me with a starving soul.. Tears of perfume are never drying Eternal Winters breathe out the rain The veils of eve ascending quickly Dark as the wing of nightingales. My yearning heart now filled with mourning Its gentle whispers so softly fade. Oh dress of Spring removed too early I just woke up to find you gone Its time to leave ,start searching for you In hope to find you in other gardens and smell fresh roses by the new dawn.

Charmaine, certainly sounds like the heart is ready! The title is open and classy in an "old time" sort of way.

Good Morning Charmaine. Keep searching those gardens. The fresh roses by the new dawn have to appear. I say that to myself also. Its my hope this sad expression is your marvelous poetic creativity and not true to life. Wonderful poetry in every way in its entirely. Honestly

A tear for Apollo and bitter-rose-wine Venus finds so sweet; the last four lines cut deep, thanks for sharing Charmaine, though quite sad it moved this muse. God bless:-)

It is so sad to read this sorrowful spring poem from such a beautiful flower as you Charmaine. This one tugs at my heart and has me sending warm thoughts you way. Beautifully written but so very sad.
