And thus try not to dwell on the past Misfortunes that may have occurred. Bad luck with an endeavor, Disappointment with a friend. The result could be to dream in the present For life is short at best Not to be squandered In reminiscences of the past. Rather it is hoped That these dreams take us forward Replete with new opportunities And challenges to be met.
