Of All the Songs
Just read someone else's poem and wrote
this one in response to the other. Also, it
is written about other sings as you will start
to tell as you read my poem. Have at it.
Of All the Songs
Of all the songs that I do sing the best
Once was about assurance that has been blest;
Even sang some story of God who is divine;
Convicts souls walking in a straight line.
Bright beach was broiling under the sun;
Holy, holy, holy is God when day is done;
We landed on a lovely, luscious land;
Was green, green they say with white sand.
Only a fool could find himself finer
In another place, other than Caroliner;
Once this beautiful State they are in.
When they leave always will return again.
Sing this song offering God much praise
See sheep and cows as they start to graze
Eating Green, Green grass and by they pass
And look at my wife such a lovely lass.
Ten thousand characters are my limit
So as I start to write very vehement
An opportunity awaits having no doom
God is in my life and in every room.
