Your rays are waving to me - inviting me to take a chance, To soar above the Earth with you - as across the sky you dance! Many people seek you out - worldwide throughout the year, You push aside the gray skies - spreading good tidings and much cheer! Removing the coldest temperatures - to keep your children warm, You're the light that we depend upon - to weather out the storm! When our day is starting badly - all we have to do is see your smiling face, It helps us to push aside our obstacles - and move at a slower pace! How can we feel sad and blue - when everything about you is so bright, Seeing you rise each morning - brings us all such extreme delight!
