Ode To Her

The triumphs I've lost, the defeats I've gained, untold sufferings; woman, you soothe, you hush down all these wounded reminiscings; for there in your warmth, I've found solace, soulful serenity; your heartbeat stokes the amber embers of my mortality. I fumble about, seeking to know where my daydreaming leads; as you gaze upon my soul, my worst fears become wind-blown weeds!
