October

October There is disquiet in the air tonight The noise is still is sullen Summery with a hint of Sunday blue. A cricket in the Karoo A mom sitting on the patio Howling at the moon Far far away. A circular spiral of panic Then nothing Not even a breath. The fever in me recognises the fever in you Namaste. Good riddance Thy will be done. Amen
