Oceans of Light
Oceans of Light,
As it washes clean our hearts tonight,
It emits a presence stronger than a rock.
The men of knowledge say steel outweighs the rock.
Until a fire is ignited, I say,
Melting all the steel away.
But then water cools the flames,
And the clouds soon absorb the acclaim.
The angels are of light, as they move the clouds, and pour the rain.
But the light of the angels is maintained
By the Oceans of Light, I say again.
The Oceans of Light,
Are men without fright,
Is a woman with her faces beautifully bright,
Is nature with its wonderful sights,
Is ecstasy with its numbing delight.
The Oceans of Light is the scholar's pen,
The fighter's blade,
Our prayer's amen,
And the forest's shade.
It is the truth, hidden away,
A message only some can convey.
It is a mystical feeling,
An esoteric meaning,
A spiritual kingdom beneath our feet,
A peaceful abode our reality deletes.
