Ocean Star
Ocean Star
They said talk to us us if you think things are getting too much,
Is the weight of the world on your shoulder like a wrecking ball
You see, your a danger to me
Just a faite a complait
Just a danger to me
A trial to test me.
You, you ve had a life of obligation
Train of thought takes you station to station
Emotions universal,
Well at least nation to nation.
A bullet would have been quicker
A speeding train more instant
But then you opted for your last trip
Too late in time to ever be saved
A potent cocktail and a watery grave.
The thunder clap crashes over a roaring sea
Terrified clouds escape the scene
To a grey sky backdrop of wailing, swaying arms
Or are they the despair of screaming trees.
Although I never fully knew your pain
Your emotional distance was such a crying shame,
To let your lights fade out so soon,
And like the tides are determined by a moon from afar
Your spirit lives on as an ocean star.
