Ocean of the Pure In Heart

Ocean Of The Pure In Heart The Lord Jesus feels our suffering, And knows of all our fears. He hears our cries in lonely hours, With understanding ears. His eyes pierce through our soul's locked door, And He sees the hurt we hide, From all those who surround us, And beckons us in Him to trust and to confide. Any wonder the One desiring to deliver us, From what prevents us from being made whole, Is saddened by our lack of faith, And our refusal to let go. We cloak ourselves in humor, Cowering behind our silly pride... Do we suppose the One who gave His life, That we might live life abundantly...has died? Not so! His Hand reaches out to us, Every single day. His Voice beckons us to believe in Him, To send a miracle in His time and way, God abides not in some remote Heaven, Where we and He are world's apart, He dwells within the humble soul, And can be reached deep within, The Ocean Of The Pure In Heart. inspirations by Joan May Donnelly Ellis Feb. 5, 2016
