Quiet eyes turn down to a delicate finger scratching edges of chaos in the sand ink runs in tears off the last of his words bending her spine spilling moments undone winding counterclockwise since friday before last week ..... foamy tide trenches beneath her small feet fistfulls of impossible rage splatter retreating waves the softest breeze carries inhuman howls of anguish to the heavens where his tears mix with hers
