Ocean Drive

Zeros to tens cruisin', hustlin' and bustlin' on Ocean Drive, Mustangs, Ferraris and Lamborghinis slowly cruise by, humidity glistens the skin of the scantily clad, with hedonistic intentions good and bad, rooftop bars, rope lines and tight one way streets, the warm coastal breeze and humidity add to weariness of the good timers feet, Art Deco and Mediterranean architecture stand side by side, just amble on thru, you don't need a guide, another tourist magnet where anything goes, a far cry from conservative country meadows, eat-ins and take outs will cater to your wallet, so long as your credit card is valid, passengers jumping out of cars in the middle of the road, don't be alarmed, it's the citys unwritten code, hustlers looking for gullibility in gawkers eyes, each one seeking a different prize, noisy lines at the nightclub doors, some looking for a hook up on the dance floors, twenty dollar bills waving in the air at the bars, nobody's, wannabees and somebody's jostle for attention within the bizarre bazaars, dubious hands shake for a good time deal, hoping it doesn't upset the expensive evening meal, confidence and ego burning a fire, perpendicular expressions in need of a horizontal desire, Ocean Drive is another place I've seen and been, for the puritans it's simply obscene, a fun place to go if you've a few hours to blow, a place for movie stars and John and Jane Doe.
