Oblivion
All alone from my empty tower
I looked at the happenings of the world
And felt go through me, a terrible shudder
Life, nowadays, seemed to be made of lightning and thunder
No more sunny, no more warmth
No more joys, no more celebrated is faith
No more peace, no more respect
Why, would you have believed that life did have such a face?
From my lonely tower, I did wish I could fall into a sort of oblivion
Why, wishing for death does be a sin,
Wish I for myself not such an abomination
Wish I rather, to wake up someplace where eternal solace is destined!
Sleep, urges my mind
Sleep and leave all of your turmoils behind
The world is old
Now, it has simply become bold
Those atrocities have been present since long
Pray, just remember that here you do not belong
Someday, you shall leave, someday, you shall know of this oblivion
The one type that your will does entertain
But is it here the land of the fallen, I asked my mind
Those beings called ignorant and blind
Why, if the whole world does know that life does be temporary
That here does belong naught to us, beings of mystery
Then, why, why, do they cause havoc
Pray, wish I to be lured into some sort of oblivion
But, hey, a Queen I am, my kingdom does lie beneath my lonely tower
Wish I for strength, I need it, to try to bring to the world, an eternal summer!
