Oasis

The day starts with dog being sick He is getting better but is he gone be fine Dark thoughts slip into my subconscious And drive my reflection I wonder about my place in universe Feel robed of my birthright There is dark shadow cast upon my soul Rather than shadow I might say punishing sun with no shade There are no trees in valley of my spirit No grass And water is rarer then gold Through the desert my soul travels and quite young I feel old In the middle of sea of sand There is oasis With large tree There are fruits on top of the tree But in the lower and middle branches That led to the fruits Positioned above There are thorns sharp and tough as nails If I had wings of a falcon I could get to the fruit But inability to do that Drives me mad I go outside And I look at my garden It is not as empty as I feel There are fruits all over Suddenly I see beautiful butterfly Sit on one of the flowers Butterfly is big And has lustrous black wings with blue ornament Suddenly my spirit rises I admire beauty of the butterfly I know it will not help me reach fruit to sustain my soul But its wonder is almost divine symbol I hope will bring me luck
